Vision Esports is a Special Purpose Investment Vehicle (SPV) established by Vision Venture Partners, a private equity firm based in Los Angeles and founded by Rick Fox, Amit Raizada and Stratton Sclavos. Vision Esports has a mandate to raise a substantial amount of capital to directly invest in Echo Fox, Twin Galaxies, and Vision Entertainment with the intent of becoming the single largest shareholder in each company. The General Partners of Vision Esports, LP are Stratton Sclavos, Jace Hall and Chris Nordling.

 
 
 

Stratton Sclavos

General Partner

Stratton Sclavos is a General Partner at Vision Esports, the special purpose investment vehicle (SPV) established by Vision Venture Partners (VVP), where he provides management oversight, strategic planning and operational guidance to the three esports companies.

Stratton also serves as Partner at Los Angeles-based private equity firm Vision Venture Partners. Prior to Vision Esports and VVP, Stratton was a General Partner at Silicon Valley-based Radar Partners, where he invested in many successful early stage tech companies.

Additionally, Stratton served as Chairman and CEO of internet security company VeriSign, which he led for over a decade as VeriSign grew into a NASDAQ-traded corporation with over 5,000 employees, $1.7 billion in annual revenues and a market value of over $25 billion.

Stratton was also part of the ownership group of the San Jose Sharks professional hockey team for more than a decade and served as its CEO and Managing General Partner for many years. Stratton holds a B.S. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California at Davis and sits on the University of Southern California (USC) President’s Leadership Council.

 
 

Jace Hall

General Partner

Jace Hall is a General Partner at Vision Esports, the special purpose investment vehicle (SPV) established by Vision Venture Partners (VVP), where he provides management oversight, strategic planning and operational guidance to the three esports companies.

Apart from Vision Esports, Jace is a video game industry legend, having designed and published many successful game titles. He founded Monolith Productions in 1994, bringing such hits as TheBlood Franchise, F.E.A.R., and Condemned: Criminal Origins to market.

Jace sold Monlith to Warner Brothers in 2004, becoming Executive Vice President and General Manager of Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment, where he took the company from $60m to $600m in three years with over 600 employees.

Additionally, Jace helped form HDFilms, which completed over 40 different projects for feature film, scripted and unscripted TV shows and short-form webisodes with many production partners.

Chris Nordling

General Partner

Chris Nordling is a General Partner at Vision Esports, the special purpose investment vehicle (SPV) established by Vision Venture Partners (VVP), where he provides management oversight, strategic planning and operational guidance to the three esports companies.

Chris also serves as Chief Operating Officer at Los Angeles-based private equity firm Vision Venture Partners. Prior to Vision Esports and VVP, Chris served as President of Corporate Entities at MGM Resorts International managing multiple functions within the corporate structure including information technology, analystics, sourcing, retail, commercial group and other key functions.

Chris began his career with the MGM Resorts as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for The Mirage in 1997 and shortly after was promoted to CFO at Bellagio in 2000. In 2004, he was promoted to CFO of Mirage Resorts, Inc., and in 2007, was promoted to CFO of CityCenter.

Chris holds B.S. degree in Business Administration from Northeastern University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
